The Pinky Promise Club is a sisterhood club where girls can have a place to unwind and a positive environment where they can come in an talk about the things that are bothering them about school. My inspiration behind this club was derived from the bullying my sister experienced at her school. Due to the bullying, she started to feel like she deserved it, like she was worthless and that she was not pretty and that's why she was getting bullied. I wished that there was a place at her school where she could talk about it and build her confidence as well as get some guidance on how to handle such situations. In this club, we will be addressing bullying as well as mentoring and teaching the members how to be a shoulder that someone can lean on and fun team building activities. I want to build their confidence, I want to motivate them and inspire them to be leaders. I want to teach them how to be comfortable just the way they are, how to embrace their individuality and to have some girl talk. I want them to know that I am here to support, guide, nurture and most importantly, listen and that's my Pinky Promise to them.
Club starts on Tuesday 10.17.17. at 4 pm.
See you there!
